Once mature, the grain spawn can be used to inocculate pasteurized bulk substrate for fruting (grownig the actual mushrooms). Mature grain spawn can also be broken up and transferred to new sterile grain bags for further propagation and expansion into additional grain spawn. In this manner the mycologist can creat as much spawn as needed for their purposes. Sterile and contamination free.
