It works gently on their systems and comes in a new berry-flavored liquid that mixes easily with their favorite juice or a glass of milk. Recommended Usage: Children Dosage: For children under 2 years old: Not recommended. Mix liquid in 6 to 8 ounces of milk or juice. 2 to 11 years old: 50 mg to 150 mg daily; may be given as a single dose or in divided doses. Max 150 mg per day. Results usually within 12 to 72 hours; reevaluate if ineffective. Warnings: Discontinue if rectal bleeding or no bowel movement occurs.
